    Meghan Tippin

    Director

    Meghan Tippin, a Southampton, NJ native, began dancing at the young age of 3 with Triplett Dance Academy. Meghan returned to become the new school director from several years of training and performing professionally. In 2015, she attended the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s pre-professional classical ballet program under the direction of world-renowned teacher and Artistic Director, Marcia Dale Weary. While there, she had the opportunity to work with Darla Hoover, Simon Ball, and Amanda Edge. Under their coaching, Meghan was selected to perform in George Balanchine’s “Nutcracker” and Alan Hineline’s “Coppélia” and his “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. While at CPYB, she performed in many full-length ballets from classical repertoire. Meghan was invited by NYCB Principal Dancer, Ashley Bouder, to perform Balanchine’s “Waltz of the Flowers” for the 25th Arts Award Ceremony at the Harrisburg Theatre. Meghan has trained on full scholarship with Arizona Ballet (Carlos Valcárcel), BalletX (Christine Cox), and Charlotte Ballet (Hope Muir).

    As a previous member of Triplett Dance’s competition team, Meghan won many awards and scholarships for her group and solo performances. At Dance Masters of America’s national convention in 2012, she represented Chapter #25 as their title winner. Meghan has received major awards for her choreography at both regional and national competitions. She has a breathtaking, musical approach when it comes to her movement in choreography. Meghan graduated, in 2020, at the prestigious Penn State University to obtain her Bachelors of Science degree in Business with a focus of Marketing/Management.

    Meghan has appeared as guest teacher for workshops held by Dance Masters of America’s Chapter #25. In 2018, she became an active member of Dance Masters of America. As a member of our faculty, Meghan teaches ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, preschool, jazz, acro and tap. In 2023, Meghan furthered her education for acrobatic training and teaching becoming a certified Acrobatic Arts educator. She is excited to share her passion and love of dance with all of her students at Triplett Dance Academy.

    Roger & Trish

    Co-Founders

    Roger and Trish Triplett, Co-Founders of the Triplett Dance Academy, had established a studio that reflects their years of stage experience and dance training. Trish and Roger met while attending Butler University in Indianapolis where they received Bachelor of Arts degrees with honors.  As students, they performed with the Indianapolis Ballet Theater and at the inauguration of the Governor. They were soloists with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater for five years and toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada. During the ballet off season, the couple performed at the Cincinnati Summer Opera with opera greats. They appeared as guest artists with regional dance companies and symphony orchestras, and they are both long-time members of Dance Masters of America and AGMA.

    Trish, a Burlington County native, performed with the Princeton Ballet; received an apprenticeship with the Joffrey Ballet, and was a scholarship student with Pennsylvania Ballet, all while in high school.  After her  performing career, she received a Temple University graduate assistantship, where she instructed advanced ballet classes. She has also served on the faculty of the Princeton Ballet School and developed the Perkins Center’s dance program. Trish has been a guest teacher and judge for major dance organizations.

    Roger performed for five years with the prestigious Pennsylvania Ballet. His musical theater experience includes extensive Equity productions. He was twice elected to the Board of Governors of the American Guild of Musical Artists, AGMA, and he has been on the faculty of the Pennsylvania Ballet, Princeton Ballet and the University of South Florida. He is sought after as a guest teacher and competition judge for major national dance organizations. He was guest teacher at Groupe Internationale des 8 in Perpignan, France, and he has a reputation of being a "dance teacher’s teacher."

    Alyson Miller

    Instructor

    Ally Miller is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and started dancing when she was 4 years old. She grew up competing in jazz, hip hop, and pom at NDA and UDA nationals with her dance team.

    She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2014 with a B.A. in International Politics and B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis. At Penn State, she was a member of and choreographer for Whiplash, a student-run hip hop dance team.

    Most recently, Ally was an NFL cheerleader for the Washington Commanders for two seasons from 2021 to 2023. During her time on the team, she had the opportunity to work with industry choreographers including Phil Wright, Greg Chapkis, Michelle Vaughn, and Jared Jenkins. She currently teaches adult hip hop and street jazz dance classes at several studios in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area.

    Ally is also a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and works exclusively with dancers. As a nutrition coach for dancers, she helps dancers learn how to fuel their bodies as athletes and heal their relationship with food to foster a positive body image.

    Daniella Tamasi

    Instructor

    Daniella Tamasi grew up in Princeton, NJ and began dancing at the age of 7. She started training heavily in ballet at American Reparatory Ballet/Princeton Ballet School and her performance debut was in The Nutcracker. Years of ballet training led her to explore other dance styles. The very moment she saw her first Broadway show at age 12, she knew musical theater was her calling.

    After receiving her degree from TCNJ, she took a oneway train ticket to NYC and began training with various dance instructors and vocal coaches. She was accepted into the Professional Semester Training Program at Broadway Dance Center with a concentration in theater and ballet. She continues to assist her ballet mentor, Natalya Stavro in NY, in the Vaganova method. Daniella currently works professionally in musicals having performed across the U.S. in shows such as West Side Story, Anastasia, Newsies, The Prom, Beauty and the Beast and many others. She is excited to join Triplett and bring fun and dynamic storytelling to students!

    Katie Curtis

    Instructor

    Katie Curtis started dancing with Triplett Dance Academy at the young age of 3. During her time at the Triplett Dance Academy, she trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and musical theater. To further her training, Katie joined the Triplett Dance Academy's competitive team and began traveling to attend educational workshops, national conventions, and attended weekly competitions. Prior to graduating from the studio in 2020, Katie became a class assistant to learn the educational process for young dancers following the Triplett Dance Academy syllabus.

    Katie is currently a senior at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) where she is studying to be a Special Education/Elementary and Math major. She continued her passion of dance in college by dancing with Synergy Dance Company on the campus of TCNJ. Katie has choreographed multiple theater productions while at TCNJ.

    Katie hopes to continue spreading her love of dance to the students in the young dancer's program at Triplett Dance Academy.

    Madison Ridolfi

    Instructor

    Madison began her dance career when she was three years old with the Triplett Dance Academy under the direction of Trish and Roger Triplett. At Triplett, Madison fell in love with ballet and decided this would be her focus. At the age of ten, she went on to train with Julie Caprio at the Hamilton Ballet Theatre. While studying under Ms. Caprio, Madison earned a scholarship to the School of American Ballet’s summer intensive program, leading to her acceptance into SAB’s year-round program. Madison danced in New York City at SAB for the next two years, attending summer intensives at Miami City Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet. For high school, Madison wanted a place where she could dance, study, and live. She found herself in Natick, Massachusetts spending her high school career dancing with Boston Ballet Pre-Professional Program at Walnut Hill School for the Arts. Currently, Madison attends Drexel University, majoring in Nursing with a minor in dance. Madison teaches in our Young Dancer’s Preschool Program. She is extremely excited to share her passion of dance with the next generation of young dancers.

    Marisa Evola

    Instructor

    Marisa Camille is a dedicated and dynamic dance instructor with a lifelong love for movement and expression. Marisa has a rich background in styles including jazz, ballet, pom, hip hop, Latin, and modern.

    Marisa began dancing at a young age, training and competing at local studios before earning her degree in Dance from Stockton University. She has studied with acclaimed companies such as Starr Foster Dance and the Tiffany Mills Company. Her professional performance experience includes dancing at Universal Studios in Orlando, as well as two seasons with professional dance teams — one in the AAL2 (American Arena League 2) and another in the LAL (Legends Arena League). With over six years of teaching experience, Marisa is passionate about creating a positive and challenging environment where dancers can grow both technically and artistically.

    She is also a certified Zumba and group fitness instructor, and she loves blending high energy with strong technique in her classes. Beyond the studio, Marisa owns an Italian café in Tabernacle, and she brings that same creativity and community spirit into her teaching. She’s especially interested in the connection between dance, wellness, and mental health — and believes in the power of movement to heal, empower, and inspire.

    Meghan Killian

    Meghan Killian is a Philadelphia native who was introduced to the art of dance at the tender age of 3. She trained at McHenry Dance Center in Havertown, PA and was exposed to years of dance performance and competition under the guidance of Dolores McHenry and Jamie Lee Dain. At the age of 18, Meghan received a dance scholarship to continue her studies at Point Park University in the Conservatory of Dance program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While there, she had the privilege of training under and performing works by Kate Skarpetowska, Kiesha Lalama, Aszure Barton, KiKi Lucas and many other renowned artists.  She had the opportunity to perform at the David L. Lawrence Convention Centre for the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital 125thAnniversary Gala in 2015, and at the Pittsburgh Playhouse Grand Opening in 2018. She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

    Currently, Meghan teaches and choreographs throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and was a member of Philadelphia’s only all-female jazz dance company, “Project Moshen”. In 2022, Meghan became a member by degree with Dance Masters of America Chapter #25. She has a passion for dance education, and is excited to share her love of dance with the next generation of dancers!

    Melanie Schmidt

    Instructor

    Melanie Schmidt’s dance education began at the prestigious schools of the Garden State Ballet, Balanchine’s School of American Ballet and the American Ballet Theater School in New York City. Melanie performed in professional ballet for many years and was awarded the Miss New Jersey Pageant’s scholarship for talent. She continues to teach and choreograph at various dance organizations and conventions throughout the United States. She has won top awards at competitions and pageants for her choreography for group and solo variations, and she appeared as the guest artist in the “Nutcracker” with Garden State Ballet Company. Melanie is a college graduate with a license in physical therapy, and she is certified Pilates instructor from the Pilates Studio in New York City.

    Rachael Horner

    A Marlton,  New Jersey native, Rachael Horner, started dance at the age of five at the Triplett Dance Academy.  Continuing her dance training through high school at Triplett, Rachael was accepted to the prestigious University of The Arts in Philadelphia, Pa., where she obtained her BFA.  While pursuing her degree, she was asked to become part of the Triplett Dance Academy faculty.  Rachael loves all style of dance and teaches Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Preschool.  Dance is her passion and she has studied under Wayne David, Gary Jeter, Michael Sheridan, Meredith Rainey, Jennifer Binford Johnson, Kyle Clark and Dinita Clark.  Rachael has been sharing her love of dance with her students since joining the faculty in 2013. Continuing her love for movement in 2016, Rachael completed her 200-Hour Yoga Program through Life Power Yoga Teacher Training at Lifetime in Mount Laurel. She has studied Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga.

    Robert Tyler

    Instructor

    Robert Tyler grew up in Batavia, NY.  In 2008 he began studying at The University of the Arts and graduated in May 2012 with a BFA in Dance Performance majoring in ballet.  He has studied and performed works by choreographers such as Brian Sanders, Ronen Koresh, Scott Jovovich, and Paul Sewlyn Norton.  He also learned excerpts of works by William Forsythe under the direction of Douglas Becker.  Bob was selected by The University of the Arts to represent them at a performance at the Joyce Theater.   In the summer of 2010 and 2011, he worked with Robin Cotler’s dance company, Images Evolution, and performed at the International Dance Festival in Ladek Zdroj, Poland.  Presently performing with the Koresh Dance Company in Philadelphia, Bob has been a teacher/choreographer at Triplett since 2013.

    Rochelle Haynes

    Rochelle Haynes, a Dallas, Texas native, received her BFA in dance from the University of the Arts. Rochelle joined Tap Team Two in 1997 as their principal dancer, and she has taught and lectured on the history of tap as an American art form throughout the United States. Rochelle has been on the faculty at the University of the Arts, Temple U., a tap guest artist in residence at Moravian College and a choreographer for the Garden State Dance Festival. She has studied with tap masters within the United States, Brazil, and the Czech Republic. Highlights of her professional career include performing with tap greats Nicole Hockenberry and Germaine Ingram. Performances include “Danceboom “; Philadelphia Folklore Project’s “Dance Happens Here” ; “Tap Extravaganza” in New York City, which honored tap master, LaVaughn Robinson; and a recent performance in Praque, Czech Republic for “Prague-DC-Philly”. She has been a member of Triplett Dance Academy’s faculty since 2007.

    Shannon Howard

    Shannon Howard, a Medford, NJ native, began dancing at the age of 3 with Triplett Dance Academy. Shannon has been trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. She competed competitively on Triplett Dance Academy’s competition team for several years. She has been awarded multiple high scoring trophies for her group and solo performances. Shannon has also attended many dance conventions and workshops with well-known master teachers at events such as Tap Ties, West Coast Dance Explosion, Dance Masters of America, etc.

    Shannon is a graduate of the University of Tampa with two degrees: BA in Dance and BS in Human Performance with the concentration in Exercise Physiology. She has performed and choreographed for the University of Tampa dance program, University of Tampa’s community life, and Shawnee High School’s Dance Team. She has performed on the University of Tampa’s dance team as a Spartan Scarlet and with the university’s hip hop crew, Unified Dance Crew. Shannon is a current member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS). Shannon continued her work by becoming a licensed massage therapist in 2022.

    Shannon teaches ballet, lyrical, contemporary, preschool, jazz, tap, and hip hop. She is extremely excited to share her passion of dance by focusing on how a student can transform their dance growth through positivity and focus.
