COVID-19 Rules

Here at Triplett Dance Academy we are working hard to offer a safe environment for our students, teachers and their families. There are new sanitizing procedures between classes.

  • We have added additional hand sanitizing stations in the lobby and each studio entrance.
  • New health signage is posted to remind students & staff of its importance.
  • There are step-by-step procedures in place for a full sanitary cleaning at the end of each night.
  • There is a separate Entrance and Exit Door. Do not use the same door for both transactions.
  • We are limiting the capacity in the lobby area. We recommend dropping off no more than 10 minutes prior to class and staying in your vehicle until 5 minutes to class ending.  If any issue arises with a student, we will call the cell number on file.
  • No students or staff should come to studio if feeling ill…No students or staff should come to studio if running a temperature of 100.4 or higher 24 hours prior to class.
  • No students or staff should come to work if they have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.

For the safety of all our families DO NOT COME TO CLASS SICK.

All students will have the availability to make up any missed classes within the same session.

COVID-19 Guidelines

  • Class sizes are limited. We have reduced class sizes to allow safe distances between dancers during their classes. Once a class reaches its limit of students, the class will be considered closed.
  • All studios have been marked out using a grid system of boxes to allow 6 feet and more between dancers at all times when in the classroom center floor. All barre brackets are set 6 feet apart, so each student will be set between brackets.
  • Along our hallways, we have placed noticeable markings for students to stand at and place their bags while they await for their class to begin. Again, we ask that you drop off no more than 10 minutes before class beginning.
  • All high contact surfaces in the studios will be sanitized between classes.
  • We request that everyone wears a face mask while in our facility. Due to executive order 163, we cannot enforce a mask on an individual if it adhibits one’s health when participating in a high intensity anaerobic activity, such as dance. If this is the case, we will have a discussion with the parent/guardian notifying us of the issue and we will need a note on file stating (“My child has a health issue and cannot wear a mask during high intensity anaerobic activity”). Our studio and staff cannot question the health issue due to HIPPA protection laws. We want to remind you that there will be at least 6 feet between dancers at all time when students are at the barre & center floor.
  • Employees are required to wear a face mask or N-95 face shields when in the facility.
  • The studio will take temperature checks for everyone entering into our facility. We have a noncontact forehead thermometer for the process. Please stop at the desk for a quick temperature check on your way in.
