Meghan Tippin

Meghan Tippin, a Southampton, NJ native, began dancing at the young age of 3 with Triplett Dance Academy.  Meghan has just returned from several years of training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s pre-professional classical ballet program under the direction of world renowned teacher and Artistic Director, Marcia Dale Weary.  While there, she had the opportunity to work with Darla Hoover, Simon Ball, and Amanda Edge.  Under their coaching, Meghan was selected to perform in George Balanchine’s “Nutcracker” and Alan Hineline’s “Coppélia” and  his “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”.  While at CPYB, she performed in many full length ballets from classical repertoire.  Meghan was invited by NYCB Principal Dancer, Ashley Bouder to perform Balanchine’s “Waltz of the Flowers” for the 25th Arts Award Ceremony at the Harrisburg Theatre.  Meghan has trained on full scholarship with Arizona Ballet (Carlos Valcárcel), BalletX (Christine Cox), and Charlotte Ballet (Hope Muir).

As a member of Triplett Dance’s competition team, Meghan won many awards and scholarships for her group and solo performances.  At Dance Masters of America’s national convention in 2012, she represented Chapter #25 as their title winner.  Meghan is currently enrolled at prestigious Penn State University to obtain her Bachelors of Science degree.  As a member of our faculty, Meghan teaches ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, preschool, jazz, and tap.  She is excited to share her passion and love of dance with her students at Triplett Dance.
